“Someday” Needs To Be “Today”

Question for you… Have you heard yourself say that “someday” you will do something? Travel? Lose weight? Go for a career that you love? Improve a relationship with a loved one?

Whatever it is, what are you waiting for? If you wait for that “someday”, the reality is, that day may never come. Scared of making a mistake? Reality check! No one is perfect; everyone makes mistakes. The key is to learn and grow and live life to the fullest! Don’t wait anymore. Instead of wishing your life away and saying that you’ll do something “someday”, make the commitment to start going for it in life….right now. “TODAY”!

How are you living to the fullest today? Or are you ready to make the commitment to start really living today? I’d love to hear from you “today”!

Be good to yourself and those that you love around you. Because today is the only day promised to me and you.

Love it Cynthia! Someday is definitely never on the calendar. It’s so important to go after the things that we think we might even want, because on the path you will find out what it is your heart truly desires. The important thing is to take the first step.

We might be rocking it in one area of our life, but there might be another area that needs a little improvement. Just start today!

As the saying goes “procrastination is the thief of time.” Whatever needs to be done in life needs to be done “Now” as our lovely Cynthia has already said.. Make the commitment to start going for it and make it now, there might not be another time:-) The right time is now, go for it, and succeed :-)) Cynthia you are a blessed soul sent to us, to just sparkle our lives. Your blog is always rich with great, inspiring ingredients for the soul, body, and mind.. Much love Cynthia. You Rock :-))

    Hi Cynthia,

    Good job!

Why wait for someday when the door to the life you want is wide open? Waiting for someday is unproductive and only puts space between you and your dreams. When you wait for someday, it keeps you from doing what you really want to do.

Once again, your words motivate and inspire me. You are a blessing and a gift. GBU, Brad

Thank you so much Brad for sharing your wisdom here today. It is so true what you say… that waiting for someday “only puts space between you and your dreams”. Thank you for your daily wisdom! I am grateful and appreciative of YOU!

Wow….Cindy you are always getting me thinking!! I have always believed, heard, tried to live that “there is no time like the present”. Sometimes we just don’t do “it” though….something keeps us from really pursuing our dreams, our happiness – and we are afraid of making mistakes, etc. I always need reminders, and Cindy seems to come through with those reminders for me constantly and I thank her for it.

As all of you are “pursuing” etc…. just remember PERFECT IS BORING!!!

Thank you so much Wendy for your comments. Great input! There is no time like the present to just GO FOR IT in life! I appreciate you my friend….

Very inspiring. Someday is so hard for many but starting is hard part once you start that someday you won’t stop until you finish. Great post

Kita, thank you so much for your comment! The key is to start. Take that first step. It will lead to more steps. Soon you’ll be taking long strides… And before you know it, there is the finish line! You’ve got this. Go for your dreams!

    Hey RockChic!

    Nice post.
Do you know the definition of a procrastinator? Someone who cannot take NOW for an answer!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery, all we have is today so Carpe Jugular (Seize the Throat) and go for it.

I am speaking on my blog about people who carry the past into the future too, that is also a killer!

    Great Job Cynthia

    Hasta la Vista baby!!!

Aww, the beauty of today, and all of the possibilities it brings! Did Nora tall you that “Today is Your Day” is the theme song we picked for Energy of Yes?!? I listen to it often in the car as an affirmation that “Today is my day, and everything is going my way!” 😉
