The One Thing You Must Do To Get Laser-Focused In Life!

For those of you that have known me for years, you know that I use the words ‘laser-focused’ in everything I do. Laser focus this. Laser focus that. I am laughing as I am writing this because no matter where I go, or what I do, those words will come out and clients will be sure to tell me ‘Cynthia… I am staying laser-focused!’

I don’t apologize for using this phrase SO much. It is my thing. It’s the one thing that I believe helps you get from where you are now to where you want to be. It’s ‘the thing’ that will take you from being ordinary to being extraordinary. It is what you need in order to achieve your greatest success and happiness!

So people always ask me to help get them laser-focused because they desperately want to achieve great happiness and success. So what do I believe is the one thing that is necessary in order for you to be able to truly get laser-focused?

If you want to be laser-focused, you must eliminate what is not working for you. Click To Tweet

You must clear the clutter!

In order for you to truly get on the path of greatness and get laser-focused on achieving your goals, you must clear the emotional and physical clutter from your life!

It’s always the thing! When people are not focused, it’s because they typically have too much on their mind or too much on their plate; too many things distracting them from greatness!

I want you to change that! I want you to get LASER-FOCUSED!  How can you do that?

  • Focus - Your PathClean up and clean out the physical stuff that has been around way too long. Donate it or Dump it. You don’t need all that stuff! You will be much better for it.
  • Clear your plate of activities that are draining the positive energy out of you! Yep, it means that you are going to have to say ‘no’ to activities that aren’t working for you, so you can say ‘yes’ to your best life.
  • You must stop hanging around people that are not supportive of your goals and dreams. Tough one to do when these people might be really close to you.  You many not be able to stop seeing them, but you can stop letting their negative talk and behavior affect you.
  • Stop trying to do a whole bunch of things! When you try to do everything, you are an expert in nothing and do you know where that gets you? Nowhere! So start eliminating things in your life that really are not working for you.

If you want to be your BEST, you must consistently be laser-focused! Click To Tweet

I am all about getting you laser-focused! That’s the key to achieving your greatest success and happiness. Do you have laser-focus? Does any of what I say above resonate with you, that you need to start eliminating and cleaning up the clutter? Do you have a positive story to share about you getting focused in your life? I definitely want to hear from you!

RIGHT ON Cynthia! Why is it that so many of us clutter up our lives with things and people who drain us of our ‘focus’? In allowing this to happen in our lives the sharp edges we have worked so hard to create are rounded out leaving us “focus-less.” Your inspirational message this morning grants us the permission to sharpen our blade and focus with laser-like precision. In doing so, we will re-gain control of our lives and happiness. Once again, you have nailed it Cynthia!

I have told so many people about you Cynthia and shared your blog countless times. I put these points into action a year ago when I started recording things that didn’t serve me and got rid of them. In the process I learned more about who I am, than who I am not. So – getting laser focused works in reverse too.

I think one of the tips of greatest advantage is choosing to be friends with people who support you, but also tell you the truth about you. Get rid of the toxic relationships whether people or things you do that are blocking your path to the future you desire.

Keep sharing your insights and advice.

There are a lot of distractions in life, and with them come all the energy vampires that love to take up our time and drain us of energy. Whatever isn’t serving you is not deserving you.

Awesome post Cynthia! You are spot on with the concept of clearing the emotional and physical clutter in our life. I’ve watched myself get derailed by both of these as they take my focus and energy off my goal. I tend to believe the emotional clutter may be more damaging than the physical since we can’t grasp it and put it in the trashcan. We can overcome it but we have to be more deliberate with our actions to declutter the emotional arena. Thanks for sharing the post! Now off to get rid of the physical clutter in my office!!

    • SmartChic November 17, 2015 at 12:32 pm - Reply

Thank you so much Wade for your comments. I too also believe that emotional clutter can be worse than physical clutter at times. I am so glad you enjoyed this article!! I really appreciate you!
